SKÅL International Krabi Celebrates Successful Networking Event, Outlines 2025 Initiatives
Krabi, Thailand – SKÅL International Krabi hosted a successful networking event last night,

February 6, 2025,
at Varana Beach Club.
Almost 40 guests, including tourism specialists and key dignitaries, attended the jovial evening.
SKÅL Krabi President Ingeborg, delivered a speech outlining upcoming events, including a sustainability talk scheduled for March and a silent auction in May 2025 to benefit the Krabi Orphanage.
The Tourism Authority of Thailand ( Krabi ) Director also addressed the attendees, sharing positive tourism statistics for 2024, confirming that tourism in Krabi has returned to pre-pandemic levels.

A special guest, Sub District Administrative (Aonang ) reaffirmed the strong cooperation between SKÅL Krabi and the local government. Discussions focused on joint efforts to address Krabi’s waste management challenges and lay the groundwork for the
“#KrabiZeroPlasticZone” project and a comprehensive recycling program. SKÅL Krabi is committed to working closely with government authorities to further enhance Krabi as a premier destination.
The evening was made possible thanks to Varana Beach Club, who provided a beautiful canopy setting for the event, KILO Krabi for their refreshing drinks, and SKÅL Krabi for the complimentary free-flow beverages.
